TFG Webmaster here. In October of 2010, I took a trip across the globe to "little" place called Hong Kong, China. I was accompanied by two of my best friends in life, JET and Shelly. Without further ado, check out my photos from our trip! Also scroll down to see a 3-part vlog series!

Hong Kong: A city harmoniously in touch with both technology & nature.

BACKSTORY: Jet grew up in California but has original family members from Hong Kong. Since I've known him, he frequently traveled to Hong Kong with his family... and always told me stories of ultra-modern arcades (tons of them), along with badass multi-level toy stores and game shops. Jet showed me his collection of fighting game figures, most which were super rare and impossible to find in the U.S.A. After being friends for a decade, it was time for me to take the 15-hour flight alongside Jet for the ultimate Hong Kong experience. I was not disappointed. In total we spent 11 days in Hong Kong and damn it was amazing.

Truly a beautiful city... and an amazingly clean one at that.

If you ever get a chance to travel to that side of the world, I definitely recommend stopping at Hong Kong... especially if you're a gamer and appreciate Asian culture (and love Asian food). Hong Kong is a truly amazing place... a city that never sleeps. There's just so much to do, and literally 24-hours a day. I spent 11 days there, and I have to say it was the perfect amount of time. Any less, and the trip would've felt too short. Any longer and I might've spent all of my savings.
 

The food was beyond amazing. We ate GOOD. No buffets here.

Coming from Florida USA, the 15-hour flight is brutal (a total of 30 hours to and from). If you can handle such travel hours, I definitely recommend you travel as much as you can, as long as you can. And if you have a chance, I definitely recommend visiting Hong Kong. For me, it was a life-changing experience!
