Eagle

BIO:

Born in the UK, this cold-blooded fighter is known only as Eagle. He is a bouncer who was employed as a noble family's bodyguard during the first Street Fighter tournament. He was hired to defeat Sagat, but failed and hasn't been heard of since. Due to a few of his win quotes and mannerisms, Eagle is commonly dubbed as a homosexual, but this isn't confirmed in any canon storyline.

At first glance, Eagle can easily fall under the category of "generic" as a design, especially when compared to most other Street Fighter characters... but overall, he isn't a terrible design. I mean, he was one of the first "well dressed" fighting game characters ever. That's gotta count for something! He's got the cool double Eskrima style going on, a popular and impressive martial art in movies (and authentic in street self defense)! For that reason, Eagle is legit.

As a SF fan since the beginning, I thought Eagle's return in Capcom vs. SNK 2 was pretty damn epic. Capcom did a great job bringing him up to speed with a slick new sprite and great animations. Capcom did it again! Eagle is a pretty innovative and fun-to-use character in CVS2 and Alpha 3 Max. On a side note, shoutouts to Mr. Big. Eagle did it first!
