Persona 4 Arena Ultimax Launching in March 2022 w/o Rollback Netcode, Atlus Confirms

Earlier this month, Atlus announced PS3-era anime fighting game classic, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, is getting a rerelease on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. This week's issue of Famitsu
confirmed the upcoming P4U2 port will not, however, include the FGC-demanded "new standard" of Rollback Netcode when it launches next year.

The open beta for Dungeon Fighter Duel kicks off later today on PS5 and PS4. To prepare beta participants, Neople released official
movelists for all 10 playable characters featured in this weekend's beta. Additionally, the publisher finally confirmed DNF Duel does support Rollback Netcode. Nexon mentioned that they will also release "four types" of system explanation videos soon. Stay tuned!

Namco announced two new
editions of TEKKEN 7, including a "Definitive" Edition
containing ALL of the game's DLC characters. The "Originals" Edition
features 12 of the game's DLC characters (only omitting 3rd party guest
characters), and the Season 3 Frame Data feature DLC. The Definitive
Edition includes ALL DLC characters and everything included in the Season Passes

updated with another influential illustrator of the genre.
Harumaru is a female artist who worked at Capcom from 1998-2000. She is famed for being the lead artist of Strider 2 and created promotional artwork for several hit Capcom fighting games, including: Street Fighter Alpha 3, Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike, Project Justice, and Capcom
Vs. SNK.

KOF 15 Isla, Dolores & Heidern Idle Stances, Victory Poses

On Twitter, SNK shared a new
video for The King of Fighters XV highlighting Team Rival's idle stances and victory poses. While Heidern's idle stance animation was recycled from The King of Fighters XIV, newcomers Isla and Dolores (expectedly) show off brand new and unique idle stances to the series. In fact, the KOF15
newcomers' idle animations aren't what you'd call "typical" and feature a variety of charismatic poses in sequence.

Street Fighter V Reaches 6 Million Sales Worldwide, New Edition with All Characters DLC Announced for Japan

announced Street Fighter V has achieved over 6 million worldwide sales since its original launch back in 2016 —
technically making it the second best-selling title in series history following Street Fighter II's 6.3 million sold on SNES. However, the 6 million includes all versions of SFV, from the original version to Arcade Edition and Champion Edition.

TEKKEN 7: Legendary Edition for Europe, coming November 12th to select
retailers. This physical edition includes the base game along with 8 out of 15
DLC characters. If for some reason you still don't already own one of the
greatest 3D fighting games ever made, this package seems like a fairly
convenient way for newcomers to finally dive into TEKKEN 7.

Breakers Collection
Closed Beta Coming to Steam January 2022

announced way back in August '19, Breakers Collection is a digital compilation
containing two
cult-classic NeoGeo 2D fighting games: Breakers (1996) and Breakers Revenge
(1998). Developer QUByte Interactive has been quiet about the game over the
past year — the project presumably being delayed due to Covid-19, but the
developers have finally come out of the shadows to announce a closed
beta for Jan. 2022 and released a new trailer.

new logo, effective April 2022. The original Bandai Namco logo first appeared in 2005, representing the "fusion" of the two companies. "Our current logo expresses the fusion of Bandai and Namco that was created when the companies integrated. It will be replaced with a new logo that reflects our new
